Calma do Mar

Located in the edge of the village of Madalena, 100 metres from the sea, Calma do Mar B&B offers cosy accommodations with free WiFi.

Calma do Mar includes double or twin rooms with private or shared bathrooms. The property’s proximity to the sea allow guests to listen to the waves crashing in the shoreline providing an unique felling of relaxation. The shared lounge features a fireplace.

Guests will wake up with a breakfast buffet made of local products including seasonal and tropical fruit plus a variety of cheeses. In addition a shared kitchen is available for guests. Here guests can make their own meals. Alternatively, at a few minutes’ walk, guests can find restaurants serving traditional local cuisine.

The staff at Calma do Mar will gladly help guests taking full advantage of their stay providing them information of the surroundings and arranging activities. These include whale watching and diving with the dolphins.

The village of Madalena has ferry boat connections to the other islands of the Azores archipelago. Within a 10-minute walk guests will find the natural swimming pools of Madalena and the world heritage vineyards. Pico Airport is 11 Km away.

Children of all ages are welcome.
Children up to 11 years old (inclusive) stay for 25 € per person per night when sleeping in an available extra bed.
Children up to 1 years old (inclusive) stay free when sleeping in an available crib.
