Barely through the door you will come across a little corner of paradise hidden in the heart of the old town, close to the historic center (Arènes, Maison Carré, Jardin de la Fontaine, etc.)
Housing
This large, bright, air-conditioned room overlooks the garden of the house. It includes a comfortably and tastefully furnished lounge area. You can count on the presence of a Senseo coffee machine as well as a kettle to prepare a little coffee/tea as you wish.
The outdoor lounge will allow you to enjoy the tranquility of the patio and have breakfast near the pool, right in front of your room.
Traveler access
Travelers will be able to benefit from a comfortable space on the ground floor of the house which includes: the large bedroom and its living room area (30 m²), as well as a toilet and a small bathroom (bathtub) located on the same level.
The little bonus being the outdoor space shaded by its wisteria and jasmine. This terrace area allows you to enjoy the flowery, tropical garden and the gentle music of the fish pond.
Exchanges with travelers
I will be available if travelers need anything (information, practical advice and restaurant suggestions, etc.) and I even offer to pick them up at the station if they wish.
A closed garage adjoining the house is at your disposal for the price of 10 euros for 24 hours.
I live on the 2 upper floors of the house, which allows me to meet a last minute need.
The neighborhood
Here you are on the heights of Nîmes, in the old Croix de Fer district which is often called "Montmartre Nîmes" for its relief and its character popular with the city's inhabitants.
At the crossroads of a street you will surely come across the old wash house or the reservoir which once supplied the town with water. We want to get lost there.
Transportation
Here you are:
- 10 minutes walk from the station crossing the esplanade
- 5 minutes by car
- 5 minutes by BUS (if you are loaded)
- + VéloTango station nearby (bike service from the city of Nîmes)
Other remarks
I share this house with my 3 cats who tend to wander around the garden and around the house as they please. They are gentle and very sociable even with children so have no fear.
I suggest adding an extra bed if you come with 1 or 2 children. You'll just have to tell me for the organization.

"Un havre de paix au cœur de la ville !"
Nous avons été extrêmement bien accueilli par la propriétaire toujours à notre écoute ! Le logement est spacieux, nous avions tout le confort nécessaire (nous y avons très bien dormi), le patio est tout simplement exquis ! Il y a en plus un garage fermé 😉 ce qui est essentiel en centre-ville nous avons pu ainsi visiter Nîmes en toute tranquillité ! Bref vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

"Une oasis de verdure"
La chambre d’hôtes est un havre de paix et de verdure à deux pas du centre historique. Nous avons eu un très bon accueil chaleureux par la propriétaire. La chambre est spacieuse et très confortable.

"Séjour en couple agréable et confortable."
Marie, la propriétaire, a été très accueillante et souriante. Elle s'est intéressée à la randonnée que nous finissions chez elle. Bien que situé en plein centre ville, la chambre est au calme. La terrasse où nous petit dejeunions un havre de paix. Petit déjeuner confitures faites maison et jus d'orange frais. Nous recommandons cette étape pour toutes ces raisons. Merci encore à Marie.

"Une parenthèse enchantée"
Que dire de la chambre de charme de Marie, si ce n'est que perfection, cosy, bienveillance, gourmandise et quiétude. En effet lors de votre arrivée sur les hauteurs de Nîmes, Marie vous accueille avec le sourire dans sa parenthèse enchantée, une maison de ville avec un patio central fleuri et intimiste à souhait ou vous pourrez partager au réveil un petit déjeuner délicieux préparer avec soin par Marie (des confitures maison, jus de fruit frais, des fruits succulents...). En ce qui concerne la chambre, je dirais spacieuse, cosy, décorée avec goût, calme, vous avez le sentiment d'être dans un cocon. Pour résumer, nous avons été comblés par notre séjour au Patio Fleuri, et ravis d'avoir fait la connaissance de Marie. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir passer quelques jours chez vous. Ah oui j'oubliais, le plus non négligeable est le garage à votre disposition, essentiel à Nîmes.

"Une halte bienfaisante"
Nous sommes arrivés fatigués par la route sous un soleil de plomb dans une voiture ayant de l’âge!
Dès la porte franchie, l’accueil chaleureux de Marie et le magnifique patio nous ont redonné de l’énergie.
La chambre, le salon et la salle de bains sont reluisants. Tout a été choisi et assorti avec grand soin.
Nous avons goûté aux pêches, brugnons et melons gorgés de soleil et aux délicieuses confitures cuites avec amour. Nous nous retenus pour ne pas les manger à la cuillère!
Nous avons gardé des visites pour un prochain séjour.

"Trop chouette"
Très agréable séjour dans cette charmante demeure pleine de vie. Marie-jo sait accueillir ses hôtes avec beaucoup d'attentions et avec le souci des moindres détails. Le petit déjeuner dans le patio, est un moment inoubliable accompagné des délicieuses confitures maison. On recommande.

"Sans hésitation, nous recommandons"
Nous avons adoré notre escale chez Marie-José qui nous accueille avec chaleur dans une maison typique nîmoise du quartier Street Art. Un cadre charmant avec un patio bucolique qui ravit les yeux et les sens. Un vrai havre de paix. On ne peut que s’y détendre et y rêver. La chambre très spacieuse et confortable y a un accès direct. Marie-José nous gâte avec ses confitures maison. Son petit déjeuner pris dans le patio est délicieux. Elle est aux petits soins avec ses hôtes. Pas besoin de véhicule. Vous laissez la voiture au garage. Le quartier de Marie-José est très bien placé. Pour profiter de Nîmes et de ses magnifiques sites, tout se fait à pieds. Vous pourrez ainsi, au détour des petites rues et des croisements de ce quartier, découvrir de nombreuses réalisations sur les façades. Nous avons apprécié nos échanges avec Marie-José. De beaux moments de partage. Une belle rencontre, une belle personne chez qui nous reviendrons.
