This old farmhouse is separate from our home which offers you total independence.
The 2 bedrooms on the ground floor remain cool in summer and the 3 bedrooms upstairs now have air conditioning!
Present since 2016 in the “favorite” selection of the GéoGuide on the Pays de la Loire, we have also been since 2015 in the Routard's Guide to the Châteaux of the Loire as well as in the notebooks of the Guides Bleus Hachette on the châteaux of Chambord and Chenonceau.
A dining room, a small living room with fireplace, a small kitchen, a refrigerator, a barbecue and picnic tables are at your disposal.
Very quiet environment, perfect for relaxing with a good book, in the shade of our large trees or in full sun on our lawns.
In the surrounding area close to our guest rooms are the majestic castles of Chambord, Blois, Cheverny and Chaumont-sur-Loire.
But it would be a shame to ignore charming castles on a more human scale which offer romantic visits outside of tourist buses!
Around us are Villesavin, Beauregard, Troussay, Fougère-sur-Bièvre, Talcy, and la Ferté-Saint-Aubin.
Less than 45 minutes away you can discover Amboise, Le Clos-Lucé and Chenonceau.
Loir-et-Cher offers many activities: beautiful cycle paths, walks or kayaking on the Loire and magnificent gardens to discover.

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in La Grange aux Herbes! Een vriendelijke en hartelijke ontvangst op een prachtig, rustig gelegen domein, een uitstekende uitvalsbasis om de streek te verkennen.
We genoten van een verzorgd en lekker ontbijt, hadden nette en gezellige kamers. Daar bovenop kregen we nog heel wat tips van de vriendelijke gastheer om 100% te genieten van ons verblijf daar. Een aanrader!

"Calme et bienveillance à proximité de Chambord"
La chambre « Véronique » était impeccable, confortable et accueillante pour trois personnes (2 adultes et 1 enfant de 13 ans). Les jardins autour de l'étang sont une vraie plus-value pour profiter de la sérénité des lieux.
Patrick, notre hôte, a été à l'écoute et de bons conseils et le petit-déjeuner est agréablement bien servi, accompagné de quelques recettes maison.
Nous recommandons sans hésiter cette chambre d'hôte.

"Magnifica esperienza"
Posto ncantevole, immerso nel verde e vicinissimo ad uno dei castelli più belli della Loira, quello di Chambord. Il sig. Plé, il proprietario, é un eccellente padrone di casa. Ottima la colazione, con marmellate e dolci fatti in casa. Ci torneremo.

Nous étions en vélo et nous avons pu les garer à l'abri et visiter Chambord, Cheverny, Blois et faire d'autres belles découvertes.

"Ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt"
Ein renoviertes Bauernhaus, umgeben von einem wunderschönen Park. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt und das Bett hatte sehr gute Matratzen. Der Besitzer Herr Plé sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er hat uns gut beraten für die Besichtigungen der Schlösser. Seine nützlichen Hinweise haben uns sehr geholfen. Zum Frühstück gab es jeden morgen einen leckeren selbstgebackenen Kuchen. Eine wirklich gute Adresse! Vielen Dank für alles!

"Un muy buen lugar para estar!"
Nos quedamos 3 noches en este lugar, con nuestros 2 chicos. La pasamos muy bien. El lugar es muy tranquilo, a 5 minutos de la entrada al dominio de Chambord. Esta todo muy limpio. Patrick el dueno es muy simpatico y muy atento a las necesidades de cada uno. No habla espanol pero ingles perfectamente. El desayuno esta muy bueno, con pan, media luna y muchas veces una torta hecha por su mujer. No duden en ir!
