Cowper Inn

Located in Palo Alto, Cowper Inn is composed of 2 beautifully restored turn-of-the-century historical homes. One is a Victorian house and the other a Craftsman-style house. This B&B offers a daily delicious homemade breakfast and features a yoga loft and yoga/meditation classes 5 days a week. Stanford University is 5 minutes’ drive away.

Cowper Inn has 16 different room accommodations, each with individual décor and style. Located apart from the 2 historical homes, the Carriage House boasts free WiFi, a fully equipped kitchen, a cable TV, ironing facilities and a private bathroom with Aveda toiletries. The 4 suites at Cowper Inn offer free WiFi, a cable TV and a private bathroom with Aveda toiletries. Two of the suites offer kitchenettes while the other 2 suites offer access to a full kitchen. Standard rooms are also available.

Guests of this B&B can enjoy breakfast in the dining room of the corner house every morning. On weekdays breakfast is served from 07:15 to 09:00. On weekends breakfast is served from 08:00 am to 10:00. The petit déjeuner menu varies daily and includes homemade granola, organic oatmeal, eggs, omelets and scrambled eggs, French toast, waffles, pancakes, fruits, cheese and meat trays. Other breakfast items include freshly squeezed juices, locally produced organic yogurt, coffee and tea, fresh baked bread from Mayfield Bakery and an assortment of pastries from Paris Baguette.

Guests of Cowper Inn can enjoy sitting outside on the two wicker-decorated porches or in the beautifully landscaped garden. The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal morning newspapers are available in the breakfast area. Guests can hire bicycles to explore the surrounding area. Free guest parking is offered on site.
