La Licorne, charming guest house is an Authentic Périgourdine, nestled in the heart of a medieval village,

La Licorne, made up of buildings dating from the twelfth to the eighteenth century, offers 5 bedrooms, each with independent access, overlooking 2 landscaped gardens.

Our rooms, carefully decorated by Isabelle, will let you admire their Périgord stone walls.
Each of them is equipped with very comfortable bedding and a bathroom or a separate shower room.

You will find deckchairs/sunbeds at your disposal in our gardens, and lounges where you will savor the tranquility of the place.

The 10m x 5m heated swimming pool is treated with salt and will delight young and old alike.

You will discover our dining room, located in a monumental Périgord house, where Isabelle will welcome you upon your arrival with a welcome drink, and where she will offer you her famous breakfasts (hot drink, fruit juice, jams and homemade pastries , cheeses, prunes in red wine and cinnamon, small "fresh and seasonal" individual fruit salads, country bread, cheeses, cereals, etc.). And, if you specify when booking: bread and pastries "WITHOUT GLUTEN", ...

You can enjoy the Table d'Hôtes every Monday and Saturday evening, from September 15 to May 15. Isabelle offering you her original recipes, around regional products that she carefully selects for you.
The meal begins with a choice of homemade aperitifs (wine of sage, walnuts, peaches, cherries, rosemary, elderflowers, etc.), accompanied by homemade appetizers.
Isabelle will then serve you a starter, a main course, cheese and a dessert, all made with love. The cuisine is obviously totally "homemade"; Isabelle will also know how to brighten up your meal with her good humor and her anecdotes about this activity.

In July and August, you can accompany us to the Producers' Market, every Friday evening, on the Place de Valojoulx (10 meters from our house) where you can taste authentic local products, in joy and good humor.
It is a real place of exchange, celebration and conviviality!

DESCRIPTIONS OF OUR ROOMS

For 2, 3 or 4 people:
Our prestige room "MELILOTS" occupies the entire floor of our fortified house (former Templerie from the end of the 12th or beginning of the 13th century), over more than 50 m²; It combines the charm of the Middle Ages and absolute comfort, with a bed of 200 x 160 + 1 bed in 110 and if necessary 1 bed in 90. This room is equipped
a bathtub, a separate private WC.

For 2, 3 or 4 people:
Our family room "TEMPLERIE / TEMPLIERS" consists of 2 adjacent rooms (1 bed 140 "Parents side" and 2 beds 90 "Children side". This room is equipped with a bathroom with WC. It occupies the entire ground floor of our fortified house "Templerie". It opens onto the large 3,400 m² garden with a grassy terrace, equipped with an offset parasol, a wrought iron table and 4 chairs. Numerous baths for sun are at your disposal in this large garden to rest and relax at your leisure.

For 2 or 3 people:
Our "IRIS" room is located on the ground floor of our 18th century building and is equipped with a 160 bed and a 90 bed. It offers an independent private bathroom and a separate private toilet.. It opens onto a private terrace shaded by bamboo, equipped with an awning and has a wrought iron table and 4 chairs, at your disposal.

For 2 people :
Our "AMBRUNE" room is located on the first floor of the 18th century building and is equipped with a 140 bed and a shower room with WC. Very romantic cachet!

For 2 people :
Our "POPS" room is located on the ground floor and is equipped with 2 "boat" or "roller" beds Old single beds in 120 (which can be joined, if you wish). This room is equipped with an independent shower room and an independent, separate private WC. It opens onto a gravelled terrace, with 2 sun loungers at your disposal and is equipped with a parasol and a small wrought iron table and 2 chairs.

We can - with the greatest pleasure - advise you, concoct you and help you organize circuits adapted to your expectations among all these places, and many others - still known by us - to make you love and share with you the multiple pleasures of our beautiful region!
