The property's Cellar Door is open daily from 10:00-17:00 where you can enjoy a relaxed tasting of boutique wines, handpicked from McCaffrey's Estate vineyard. There are also chickens and ducks onsite, providing fresh eggs for guests as well as plenty of kangaroos to watch in the vineyard.
The guest house is 8.6 km from Hunter Valley Gardens. Wine tours and concert transfers can be organised. Newcastle Airport is 55 km away.
The self-contained, air-conditioned cottages offer a fully-equipped kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator. The living room includes bluetooth stereos, a TV with a DVD player and a fireplace to warm up in the winter evenings. The bathrooms have a shower and hairdryer. There are electric blankets for guests to stay warm on the winter nights.
You can enjoy an outdoor meal on your own private patio with BBQ and furniture, surrounded by lovely gardens. Enjoy a walk through the vineyard or enjoy the sunset over the dam. A breakfast hamper with eggs, bacon, milk, bread, condiments and a selection of cereal is included for you to prepare your breakfast in the kitchen.
