A few steps away is the Circumvesuviana train station which can take you in a few minutes to Sorrento and other towns on the Sorrento Peninsula, to Pompeii and other UNESCO archaeological sites (Herculaneum, Oplontis, Villa Regina).
You can reach Capri with ferries that leave directly from the port of Castellammare, one of the oldest and most glorious in the Kingdom of Naples.
From Castellammare you can reach Faito thanks to a cable car that connects the central station to the top of the mountain (1100 m).
For day trips, you can reach Naples and its magnificent historic center, the Amalfi Coast (Positano, Ravello, Amalfi, Praiano, Maiori).
Caserta is home to the Royal Palace of the Bourbons, a copy of the Palace of Versailles, from the time of the Kingdom of Naples and can be reached in about 1 hour by car.
