Hiking trailsWelcome to Sykelgaete, a charming guesthouse in the historic heart of Coutances, in an old, very quiet street.
Newly built on the ground floor next to the mansion, it has its own entrance via the enclosed garden.
Spacious room of 20 m² which benefits from a large bathroom with Italian shower and two sinks. Linen and toiletries are provided.
Terrace and garden are at your disposal, as well as tables, chairs and deckchairs.
A picnic basket can be reserved 2 days in advance.
The Jardin des Plantes and the Quesnel-Morinière Museum are at the end of the street, the cathedral and Saint-Pierre church are a 5-minute walk away.
Easy parking on the street and, on request, possible in our garage.
Baby equipment (travel cot, baby bath, high chair) available on request.
By the way, who is Sykelgaete? Born in 1040, this Princess of Salerno is the wife of Robert Guiscard de Hauteville, son of Tancrède, who left Coutançais to conquer southern Italy.

"Avis très positif"
Chambre trouvée en dernière minute, accueil chaleureux des hôtes, localisation incroyablement calme, bonne situation (centre historique) de la chambre qui est impeccable (neuve) et spacieuse. Il ne manque rien, tout a été bien pensé, décoration soignée, petit déjeuner copieux, Jardin très agréable. Merci à vous pour ce week-end reposant.
