Au cœur de la Vallée de l’Ellé, dans la jolie campagne de Langonnet, se niche l’Abbaye de Langonnet fondée par les Cisterciens en 1136.
On y visite aussi le musée des arts africains, tel un petit frère rappelant un peu son aîné le célèbre musée parisien du Quai Branly, consacré aux arts premiers. Les vitrines sont alimentées par les nombreux objets, outils, œuvres d’art rapportés par d’anciens missionnaires au fil des ans.
