The Benedictine Abbey of Saint Michel Kergonan was founded in 1898 by the Abbey Sainte-Cécile of Solesmes. True to the spirit of St Benedict, the nuns devote their lives to the praise of God in communal prayer (sung in Gregorian chant), personal and manual labor that sustains them and allows them to help their poorer brothers (cloisonné enamels, patron saints painted on wood, liturgical vestments, biscuits spelled, organic apple cider vinegar, seaweed fertilizer ...).
The hotel provides a framework for peace and meditation for those who wish to join in their liturgical prayer and devote themselves to prayer and reflection. Through their lives, the nuns want to share the love of the risen Christ.
