The Church of St. Maurice in Vienna is the oldest cathedral of the Diocese of Vienna, first mentioned in 314 and suppressed the revolution in 1790. Until then, the cathedral was also the seat of the Primacy of the Seven Provinces. The church is currently part of the diocese of Grenoble.
The Cathedral of Saint-Maurice is the subject of a classification as a historic monument since 1840.
