Located at the southern entrance of the village, the castle was a stronghold of Bost noble belonging to the fifteenth century home of Ars. Its first known owner, Jean d'Ars "praised" in 1459.
In 1502, he belonged to Damascus Lyonnet, Lord de la Bastie and Pilonière. John of Damascus, the Lord of land provides the same count April 14, 1554.
Later acquired by the family of Gaspard, the stronghold passed in the last century to Daurelle of Terrenoire who still had in 1789.
At the time of the revolution the castle was bought by Mr. Bost Carrichon, who was mayor from 1801 to 1815 Blacé. It has become, since 1848, the property of Madame la Comtesse de Villarson who did significantly expand and restore.
Alas, in September 1895 a fire destroyed the central CORPOS. Subsequently it was rebuilt as can be seen today.
