À proximité du sommet du Rocher de Sampzon, se trouve l’église Saint Martin. À l’origine, cet édifice religieux était une chapelle romane dont il ne reste aujourd’hui que le choeur du XIème siècle.
Les divers remaniements ont modifié son aspect, notamment l’ajout au XVIII et XIXème siècle du presbytère accolé, l’ouverture du portail actuel et la construction du clocher. Le clocher foudroyé en 1964 a été refait en 1966. En forme de crois latine, la nef est à vaisseau unique voûté d’arêtes.
