In the early twelfth century, a church replaced a shrine to Saint Michel, built on this high place in a dream after the appearance of the Archangel to the Bishop of Avranches. This Romanesque church tower remains and the nave side. The latter was rebuilt in the sixteenth century. The choir, in the flat bed, higher than the nave, was rebuilt in the fifteenth century Gothic.
