The goal is to open on creating current, multidisciplinary (performances, installations, musical or choreographic walks, lectures, videos, ...) to be involved in its territory by the proximity of residents to enable them to access the contemporary world, to work in synergy with the Region and the Euro-region, enhance, publish, to present the collection for years 1945-1980. It is nice to see all the art movements, a small revision, well presented. The place has beautiful rooms, extraordinary, complementary to the regular channels. We fall mainly under the spell of this unusual and rare collection of the COBRA movement. The whole place may seem incomplete, but this gap over time becomes an asset, especially as the deliberate policy of the city is to complete it. The LAAC also highlights the outdoor sculpture with "Mourning" by Eugene Dodeigne or "Sheep" by Lalanne, what is lacking in many cities.
