A joint between the plates of scrubland to the east and the plains of Ales and St Ambroix / Barjac to the west, Mount Bouquet dominates the landscape, visible from afar. It presents very different faces depending on the angle at which it is discovered: from the south, it forms a dramatic and easily recognizable signal, such as a pointed nose, with gently sloping hills to the west and the opposite steep subvertical cliffs to the east. From the plateau of scrubland Lussan, he composed a massive elongated, crowned cliffs, which blocks the horizon. Since the plain of Ales, it appears as a fully wooded hill.
