Mount Mézenc of volcanic origin, rises to 1753 m above sea level. It is located on the same ridge as Mount Gerbier de Jonc between Velay and Vivarais in the massive Mézenc in the Massif Central.
It consists of two peaks separated by half a kilometer. The South Summit is the highest at 1,753 meters, is located in the department of Ardèche. North is the top surmounted by a cross for his part, culminating in 1744 meters. This is the culmination of the department of Haute-Loire.
