Housed in the old Chamonix Palace built in the early twentieth century, the museum traces the development of Alpine Chamonix since the first tourists came to admire the "ice of Savoy," until the construction of cable cars and the Golden Age winter sports. In a renovated space, you can discover a large collection of prints that attest to the growth of the city, but also photographs, plans relief, crystal, antiques, costumes and everything that constitutes the memory of the valley.
