The Museum offers 6000 m² of event space for collections presented to the public with many works of the Italian Renaissance and Flemish but French as well as contemporary art. It has a room of 400 m² for the presentation of prints from the collection Mancel. The museum has a conference room of 230 seats, used particularly by the People's University of Caen. Finally, the museum also houses a public library of art history consists of 20,000 volumes. It should be noted that the Museum of Fine Arts de Caen is one of the first museums including the permanent collections are open to all for free.
