The museum's collections: First of all, the great hall where are shown all the objects recalling the history and operation of the pawnshop and the Status of the bristles is the former chapel of the Congregation of Our Lady of Loreto where brothers held regular meetings to deliberate on the affairs of the institution. Certainly due to the architect Jean-Baptiste Franque, it was then decorated with large paintings (Mignard, Parrocel) which are now presented in the grand staircase (closed to the public). From the chapel, you can see the inner facade of the status of silk (1877) as well as rail and truck that allowed the delivery of the bales of silk. Abandoned after the Revolution, the chapel is in the second half of the nineteenth century, converted into a reception room for commitments and releases. A large transom breakthrough led to four openings, allowed access to these services and the assessor, the person responsible for evaluating objects to determine the amount of the loan.
