You can admire a collection of landscapes whose flagship is a marine Claude-Joseph Vernet. The seventeenth and eighteenth centuries are represented by works by Simon Vouet and the only painting held in France by the Italian artist Bartolomeo Biscaino, of Moses. Of archaeological evidence, from recent excavations of the court of the famous cathedral of Coutances, are exposed along with medieval sculptures. The popular arts and traditions are illustrated through a beautiful pottery Manchegan funds.
