From childhood, Michel LOUIS devoted himself entirely to his passion for animals. He stayed many times in many zoos, studying animal behavior as well as the work of trainers and management issues. The dream became a reality June 28, 1986: The zoo opened its doors to Amnéville! It now houses more than half a million visitors every year, making it the second largest zoos in French.
